I was thrilled to be invited to join the Steel Bones UK Podcast — a show dedicated to amplifying the voices of amputees and their families across the UK. Hosted by the amazing Vicki Rees from Steel Bones UK. This podcast is just one of the many ways the charity brings together the amputee community, offering support, inspiration, and practical guidance.

Steel Bones is a national charity known for their commitment to supporting amputees and their families. Their skilled team understands that every journey with limb loss is unique, shaped by personal circumstances, age, and individual needs. Through direct support and strong partnerships, Steel Bones ensures that every member receives the care, resources, and encouragement they deserve.

It was a real privilege for me to sit down with Vicki, Steel Bones’ Digital Inclusion Support Worker, for an open and honest conversation about building confidence after amputation. Together, we explored the challenges, triumphs, and practical tips that can help anyone. Tune in and discover how confidence can be rebuilt, one step at a time.
